ERNEST DUCAY
Ernest Ducay, 65, a San Quentin Prison inmate, died of cancer Saturday at a local hospital.
He had been sentenced to state prison in May after being convicted of sex crimes against children in Butte County. He was transferred last week to San Quentin from Folsom Prison because of his illness and then was taken to a local hospital.
Ducay was a carpenter at one time. He had been in and out of prison since 1948.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Daphne’s Mortuary.
