CARL LEHMAN Sr.
Carl Lehman Sr., father of Carl Lehman Jr. of San Rafael, died today at his home in Santa Rosa at the age of 91.
He was the retired general manager of the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat.
He was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He worked for the Tucson Daily Citizen before coming to the Press-Democrat as business manager in 1923. He served in that capacity until 1942, when he was named general manager. He retired in 1948.
In addition to his son, who is classified advertising manager for the Independent Journal, Lehman is survived by a daughter, Virginia Mueller of Kensington, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Lance and Eggen Mortuary in Santa Rosa.

A notice in the Aug. 6 paper adds that the funeral was to be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Eggen and Lance Mortuary, with entombment at Chapel of the Chimes in Santa Rosa.
