One Killed In Convict Battle
Harold Wilson was killed and Louis Koulouris, his assailant, was stabbed by another prisoner at San Quentin in a controversy which took place last Sunday in the motion picture theatre at San Quentin prison. Koulouris is not seriously injured and will be tried for murder in the Superior Court here.
Koulouris is serving a life term for murder committed in San Francisco, when he killed his woman consort with a knife.
An inquest was held Monday by Coroner J. Ray Keaton at the prison. Koulouris, who, despite his knife wounds, was able to testify, stated that he intended to strike Austin Fitts, another convict when Wilson leaped forward and took the thrust.
