GEORGE T. PAROBECHEK
A memorial service for George Thomas Parobechek of Corte Madera will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, Corte Madera.
He died Aug. 1 in his home, He was 66.
He was a native of Ohio, who retired after careers in both the Army and the postal service. He was a longtime Marin County resident.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Parobechek, of the home; a daughter, Eileen Jensen, in Sacramento; a brother, William Parobechek, in Ohio; four sisters, Marjorie and Betty Parobechek and Kay Pronik, all of Ohio, and Ilona O’Connell of San Francisco.
The Rev. Wade Wright Egbert, rector of Holy Innocents, will conduct the memorial service. The family prefers memorial contributions to the church or to any favorite charity.
