LEXIE HOLLOWAY
Memorial service has been held in Portland, Ore., for Lexie Leon Holloway, son of Zuda M. Holloway of Corte Madera.
Holloway, 56, died Nov. 26 in a Portland hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Crafton, Tex., and was reared in Texas and Wyoming. He also lived in Idaho, San Francisco, San Bernardino and Los Angeles before moving to Portland in 1954.
He was an iron worker.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jo; a son, Lexie L. Jr. of Dallas, Ore.; two daughters, Linda Claymier of Gainsville, Val. (sic), and Lauren Sue Holloway of Cory, N.C.; two brothers, Virgil of Rawlins, Wyo., and Seward of Lubbock, Tex.; five sisters, Beatrice Fuller of Rawlins, Wyo., Winnie Seeds of La Puente, Los Angeles County, Kay Lange of Covina, Los Angeles County, Glenna Mee of Corte Madera and Mary Jo Shiver of Pensacola, Fla., and five grandchildren.
