VERA UBSDELL
A memorial service for Vera Ubsdell of Santa Rosa is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday in the redwood Chapel of Oakwood Memorial Park and Mortuary in Layfayette.
Mrs. Ubsdell died Tuesday at a local hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 75.
A native of Manitoba, Canada, Mrs. Ubsdell lived in Walnut Creek for many years before moving to Santa Rosa. She was a member of the Santa Rosa Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, William W. Ubsdell of Santa Rosa; two daughters, Doreen J. Hanna and Sharon E. Hague, both of Walnut Creek; one son, Kenneth Ubsdell of Larkspur and six grandchildren.
A second memorial service will be scheduled later this month in Santa Rosa.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Alateral Sclerosis Foundation.
