Mrs. Mary Ann Carter, for a long time a resident of Tomales, passed away last Saturday at Penn Grove, where she had been visiting for the past month. She was 79 years of age. She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Henry Goudy, of Tomales, Mrs. Phair, of Petaluma, and two others in New Zealand.

Mrs. John Carter who moved to Petaluma a month ago, died Saturday and was buried here Tuesday. She was 79 years of age.
