MABEL E. AUSTIN
A memorial service for Mabel E. Austin, a 15-year resident of San Rafael, will be held later in Lincoln, Neb.
Mrs. Austin died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital. She was 91.
She was born in Omaha, but lived in Lincoln most of her life, moving to Marin after the death of her husband. In Lincoln, she was a past worthy matron in the Order of Eastern Star and was active in the garden club and civic groups.
She is survived only by a brother, Harold F. Davis, in Novato; a niece Patricia Martin of Mill Valley, and a nephew, Robert S. Davis in San Francisco.
The memorial service and burial in Nebraska will be under the auspices of Chapter 70, Order of Eastern Star.
