CONSUELO WISE
A Mass of Christian Burial for Consuelo Wise of San Anselmo will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Anselm’s Church.
Mrs. Wise died Monday in a Placer County Hospital following a long illness. She was 85.
A native of Aptos, Mrs. Wise had lived in Marin County since 1921. At one time, she and her husband owned the Orpeheous (sic) Grill, next door to the Rafael Theater and later the Blue Goose restaurant, also in San Rafael.
She is survived by her five daughters, Marguerite Ivers of Sonoma, Myrtle Nedbal of San Rafael, Ann Fromhagen of San Anselmo, Dorothy Tomlinson of San Anselmo, and Catherine Trimble of Placer County; two sons, Peter Wise of San Anselmo and Martin Wise of Petaluma; two sisters, Marguerite Van Orden of Ithica, New York, and Zilpha Kunes of Aptos; two brothers, Carl and Eckhart Bush, both of Aptos; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the wife of the late Jack Wise and the mother of the late Jack Wise Jr. She was also the sister of the late Harold Hall. Interment was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
