San Rafael Boy Killed By Train

Death came last Monday to Jack Butler, popular Northwestern Pacific railroad conductor, who passed away at Santa Rosa from injuries received by being caught and crushed Saturday night between the drawheads of two freight cars.

He was a son of John Butler, well known here and for many years bridge foreman for the Northwestern Pacific. He leaves a widow, and was the brother of Dr. Edmond Butler, of San Francisco, Francis and William Butler, of San Rafael. He was 31 years of age and was born and reared in San Rafael, where he was well known and popular.
