FOREST B. VICK

A private funeral for Forest B. Vick, 59, of Shreveport, La., was to be held today at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.

He died Tuesday afternoon in the back of his van at a municipal parking lot in Sausalito next to the ferry dock. He was visiting the area on vacation with his family.

He had been suffering from a serious illness.

A native of Mississippi, he was a petroleum engineer with the state of Louisiana’s Department of Conservation.

Vick is survived by his wife, Frances Vick of Shreveport; two sons, F. Burns Vick Jr. of Sacramento and William H. Vick of Dallas; a daughter, Barbara Vick of Shreveport; and two grandchildren.

Burial will be at Rest Land Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
