ALEX GORDON
A private funeral has been held for Alex Gordon of San Rafael.
Gordon, 76, died Thursday at a local hospital.
He was born in Russia. He worked as a printer in Los Angeles before moving to Marin three years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Ida Gordon; three sons, Alan Hurwitz of San Rafael and Marshall and Barry Gordon, both of Los Angeles; a daughter, Rita Silverman of Chicago; a sister, Libby Goren of Los Angeles; and seven grandchildren.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was also the brother of the late Leo Gordon. Services held at Monte’s Mission Chapel, San Rafael.
