SARAH L. TORONI

Sara L. Toroni, whose family founded the Olema Hotel, died Sunday at a local convalescent hospital after a lengthy illness.

Miss Toroni was an Olema native. Her parents, Stefano and Severina Toroni, had settled there in the early 1800s. They had built and operated the Olema Hotel for many years.

Miss Toroni was the last survivor of the family of five children.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Petaluma. Recitation of the rosary will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Sorensen Funeral Home, Petaluma.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
