HUGO CABRERA

Hugo Cabrera, 28, of San Rafael, died early today in the emergency room of a local hospital after collapsing at home.

The coroner’s office said the cause of death will not be known until after an autopsy but said that Cabrera had been in an auto accident last month and that an unknown injury suffered then might have caused his death.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Keaton’s Mortuary.

HUGH CABRERA

The funeral for Hugo Cabrera of San Rafael will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Anderson Mortuary, San Francisco.

Cabrera, 27, collapsed at home early Monday and was pronounced dead at a local hospital a short time later. Results of an autopsy still are pending, the Marin County Coroner’s Office said today, adding that death may have been due to undetected injuries from an auto accident last month.

Cabrera was a native of Guatemala. He was a janitor.

He is survived by a brother, Alberto Cabrera, and a sister, Candido Cabrera, both of San Francisco.
