BERTHA F. KRUG
Bertha F. Krug of San Anselmo, a longtime Marin resident, died Friday at her home following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Krug was a native of Reno and moved to Marin about 20 years ago.
She was a homemaker. She was married to Jack Krug, a San Francisco florist who died a few years ago.
Mrs. Krug was past president of the Marin chapter of B’nai B’rith and was a lifelong member of Hadassah. She also was an officer in the Council of Jewish Women.
She is survived by a son, David M. Krug of Pacifica; and two daughters, Roslyn E. Greene of Alamo and Margery L. Gearheard of Florida; a brother, David N. Schutz of Redwood City; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Sinai Memorial Chapel at Divisadero Street and Geary Boulevard in San Francisco.
Visitation will be Sunday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will be at Portals of Eternity Cemetery.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Dr. Ernest H. Rosenbaum, Cancer Research Fund, care of Mount Zion Hospital, 1600 Divisadero St., San Francisco, Calif., 94115, or Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, San Rafael.
