ANNIE WEBER
Annie C. Weber, born in San Rafael and a resident of Marin all her 90 years, died yesterday in a local convalescent hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was the mother of Ruth A. Weber of San Rafael, longtime senior clerk in the Marin County assessor’s office, and of Donald R. Weber of Tracy, assistant warden at Duell Vocational Institute and former captain at San Quentin Prison. She also is survived by three grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Mrs. Weber’s parents were Peter and Matilda Barrow, early settlers in San Rafael. Her daughter, Ruth Weber, is the county’s senior employee, with 18 years of service.
Mrs. Weber’s late husband, Albert A. Weber, was a painting and decorating contractor, who died 22 years ago.
Mrs. Weber was past president of John H. Harris Camp, United Spanish War Veterans Auxiliary of San Rafael, and a member of the Gidney Camp Auxiliary in Santa Rosa.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Raphael’s Church at 9 a.m. tomorrow, followed by burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Mrs. Donnalynne Whitehead of San Jose, Gayle Weber of San Francisco and Gerald Weber of Tracy, and great-grandmother of Brian Whitehead of San Jose.
