JAMES F. EGAN
Funeral for James F. Egan Jr., 43, of San Anselmo, was today in San Francisco.
Egan, a San Francisco native who had lived at 18 Morningside Drive for a year and a half, died Thursday in a San Francisco hospital after short illness.
He had been a switchman in San Francisco for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 18 years.
Egan served as an enlisted man in the Navy from 1944 to 1946 aboard a landing craft in the Pacific and married Lois Johnson, a native of San Anselmo.
Egan was a member of a San Rafael ham operators group.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Linda and Kathleen, and a son, Michael, all of San Anselmo.
