J. C. Jordan, Well Known in Marin, Passes Away

John Charles Jordan, 45, assistant manager of the publicity department of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, died suddenly at his home in San Leandro Sunday. Jordan was believed to be recovering from an operation performed a week before, but complications developed which caused his death.

Mr. Jordan was well known in Marin County, having visited here often.

Deceased had been connected with the Pacific Gas and Electric Company since he was 17 years old. He assisted in organizing the advertising and publicity department and was manager for a number of years, later taking the assistant managership when the company consolidated with the Great Western Power Company.
