ALBERT H. ALTMAN
Albert Henry Altman of Novato, a retired insurance broker, died Thursday in a local hospital after a short illness. He was 56.
Altman was born in San Francisco, a second generation native of the city. He lived in San Francisco and Daly City before moving to Marin in 1964. He lived in Greenbrae for several years before moving to Novato.
He had been associated with Albert M. Bender & Co. and later Lincoln National Life Insurance Co., both in San Francisco.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Elks Lodge in San Francisco.
Surviving are his wife, Eunice; two daughters, Pamela Altman of San Francisco and Lynn Altman of Novato; one son, Mark Altman of Novato; one sister, June Rose of Redwood City; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Bahia Valley Memorial Park in Novato. The family prefers memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
