MARGARET J. WALL
Margaret Josephine Wall, former longtime San Rafael resident, died early today in San Mateo after a brief illness. She was 81.
Mrs. Wall was the widow of James Henry Wall Jr., a lifelong resident of San Rafael, who died July 19. He was a retired sheet metal shop foreman and a member of the San Rafael Fire Department volunteers. The couple and their children lived many years at 215 C St.
Mrs. Wall moved to San Mateo a month ago to live with her daughter, Margaret J. Ottesen. She also is survived by a sister, Julia Quinn, and four grandchildren.
She was a native of Kentucky. She was a member of the Woodmen of the World, San Rafael Council.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Mission San Rafael Arcangel, followed by interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Hanna Boys Center, Sonoma.
