MARY BASSANI
Mary Bassani, a 27-year resident of San Anselmo, died Sunday in a local convalescent hospital. She was 82.
Mrs. Bassani was born and reared in San Francisco. After her husband, Joseph Bassani, died, she moved to San Anselmo to live with her daughter, Eleanor Dapiran.
She also is survived by another daughter, Noreen Bassani, of San Anselmo; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Anselm’s Church, San Anselmo, followed by burial in Italian Cemetery, Colma. The rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock tonight in the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Friends may call at the mortuary after 6 o’clock.
