RAYMOND F. SCHOOLEY
Raymond F. Schooley of San Rafael, a Marin resident for the past two years, died Saturday at his home. He was 66.
Schooley was a native of South Dakota and the grandson of Jadiah Schooley, a pioneer descendant of a Quaker family that settled in New Jersey in the 17th century.
He lived in San Francisco for 40 years and moved to Marin about 1978. He sold and delivered Lucky Lager beer for more than 30 years. He retired in 1976. He was a member of Union Local 888.
He was the brother of Ralph Schooley, a Marin resident who died several years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; a son, Richard Schooley of San Rafael; two daughters, Rochelle O’Haire of Marinwood and Diane Hernandez of San Jose; three brothers, Bernard Schooley of Sebastopol, Eugene Schooley of Occidental and David Schooley of San Francisco; two sisters, Eva O’Brien of San Rafael and Fern Northrup of Oceanside; and six grandchildren.
No services are planned. Inurnment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial donations to Hospice of Marin.
