GRACE PATTON
Grace Patton of San Anselmo died Monday in a local hospital after becoming ill at home on Sunday. She was 77.
Mrs. Patton was the wife of Harry V. Patton, who was division sales manager for Pacific Gas and Electric Co. in San Rafael for some 40 years before he retired in 1965. She also is survived by a son and a daughter.
Mrs. Patton was born in Shasta County and was the daughter of California pioneers. The funeral is pending at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.

A second obituary in the Sept. 24th paper adds that she was a native of Cassel, Shasta Co., CA, had been a resident of Marin County for 55 years, and was a member of the San Rafael Improvement Club and the Marin Historical Society. She was survived by daughter, Margery Tipper of Orinda and son, Harold V. Patton of Fairfield, her sister, Marie Mumby of Dos Palos, Merced Co., and four grandchildren. Funeral service held 1 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo, and burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
