ARTHUR A. BECKMAN
Arthur Alfred Beckman of San Anselmo, a retired banker, died at his home Sunday after a lengthy illness. He was 69.
Beckman was born and raised in Idaho. He went to work for the Bank of America at the age of 17 and held various positions with the back until he retired in 1976.
Before moving to San Anselmo in 1951, he lived in Placerville, Bakersfield and San Francisco.
Beckman is survived by his wife, Anne; two sons, Arthur Andrew Beckman of Sunnyvale and David Beckman of Yosemite; one daughter, Anne Beckman of San Anselmo, and one brother, Milo Beckman of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
The funeral will be private.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Hospice of Marin.
