Dies From Lockjaw

Hector Winters, son of Andrew Winters, manager of Cheda & Co.’s business in San Anselmo, died of lockjaw on Monday, after suffering for some time. The unfortunate boy was about 10 years old and up to the time he was afflicted, was a strong healthy young fellow. The deceased was a nephew of County Superintendent of Schools, J. B. Davidson.

Remembered With Flowers
It was a beautiful and touching sight to see all the school children of the South Side School carrying flowers to school with which to make floral pieces to decorate the casket and grave of little Hector Winters, who was a student at that school. No one would have believed that there were so many beautiful flowers at this season of the year if they had not seen the collection which the little children brought in memory of their little schoolmate and friend who has passed from them.
