IDA B. HARPER
Ida B. Harper,a long-time San Anselmo resident, died Saturday in a Mountain View hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 78.
Mrs. Harper was born in Russia and came to this country with her parents when she was 2 years old. She had lived in San Anselmo for about 40 years.
She was a member of the Marin Hadassah and B’nai B’rith.
Her husband, Charles H. Harper, died earlier.
Surviving are her daughter, Geraldine Marek of Los Altos Hills; three brothers, one sister and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. Inurnment will be private.
The family prefers memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
