FLORENCE RICHARDS
A funeral for Florence L. Richards, 78, of Novato, will be held at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin at 11 a.m. Monday.
Mrs. Richards, wife of William J. Richards, retired landscaper and former gardener for the Novato Unified School District, died Thursday at her home after a long illness.
She was a native of Loyal, Wis., who moved to Lafayette, Ore., where she married Richards. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1972.
Mrs. Richards had been a resident of Marin for 38 years and had lived in Novato for 32 years.
She was a member of Novato senior Citizens.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two sisters, Gertrude Rusow and Helen Wallace, and a brother, Henry Schwieger, all of Oregon.
Private burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
