FRANCES L. FOSTER
Frances L. Foster, 60, of Greenbrae, a former teacher at Novato High School, died Tuesday in a San Francisco hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Foster, who retired in January, had been a teacher at the high school for 17 years.
She had served as chairman of the homemaking department.
Mrs. Foster was the wife of retired Air Force Lt. Col. Elmo Foster of Greenbrae.
She was a native of Hollywood.
Surviving besides her husband, and a sister, Virginia M. Cassara, and her father, Harold A. Slack, both of Yucaipa, San Bernardino County.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton Air Force Base Chapel.
