EDDIE COBB
Eddie Cobb, a resident of Oakland, died in a local hospital Saturday after being hit by a car while changing a tire on his trailer on Highway 101 north of Novato. He was 58.
He was a native of Arkansas. He was the owner of a dry-cleaning store.
Cobb served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Cobb of Oakland, and a son, Cleophus Julks of Hayward.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. He will be buried in the veterans’ section of the Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park in Hayward.
