ELMER LOWELL
Elmer E. Lowell of San Rafael, a retired contractor, died Friday in a local hospital after a long illness. He was 85.
He was born in Washington state and also had lived in Vallejo and Contra Costa County before moving to Marin about 15 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Mary L. Lowell; one daughter, Patricia Riha of Santa Rosa; one son, Terry Lowell of Nevada City; two sisters, Ruth Longfellow of Washington and Beth Brodshaw of Los Angeles; three brothers, Percy Lowell of Oregon, Wayne Lowell of Guyana and Gordon Lowell of Washington; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael. Burial will be in Oakmont Memorial Park in Pleasant Hill.
