MARK J. BORDESSA
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mark J. Bordessa of Rohnert Park, a former Petaluma resident, will be said Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Petaluma.
Bordessa died Thursday in an automobile accident while on a hunting trip near Elko, Nevada. He was 26.
He was born and raised in Petaluma and graduated from Petaluma High School. Bordessa attended Santa Rosa Junior College for two years and went into the dairy business with his brother, Gary, in Bay City, Ore.
Bordessa had returned to Sonoma County in August, settling in Rohnert Park. He had recently worked as a truck driver.
Bordessa was a member of the Petaluma-Tomales Young Farmers and the Elks lodge of Tillamook, Ore.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Bordessa of Rohnert Park; a daughter, Michelle Marie Bordessa and a son, Ryan William Bordessa, both of the family home; his parents, Charles and Janet Bordessa of Petaluma; another brother, David Bordessa of Berkeley; and his grandmothers, Marie Emery of Petaluma and Carrie Bordessa of Point Reyes Station.
Recitation of the rosary will be Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Parent Funeral Chapel, Petaluma. Entombment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma.
