ANNA BRIDGES
A funeral service for Anna Bridges of San Anselmo will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
Mrs. Bridges died Tuesday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 56.
A native of Mankato, Kan., Mrs. Bridges moved to Mill Valley in 1942 and lived there until 1958 when she relocated in San Anselmo.
She was a former employee of the Committee of Bar Examiners for the California State Bar.
Mrs. Bridges is survived by her husband, Joseph P. Bridges; two sons, Robert L. Bridges of Lakeport and Paul L. Bridges of San Bernardino; three sisters, Sylvia Ortman of Novato, Grace Freeman of Phoenix, and Ethel Horton of Colorado Springs; two brothers, John Reystead of San Rafael and Gene Reystead of Scott City, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
