Another Pioneer Passed Away

Daniel Wilson, of Corte Madera, who has been a resident of this part of California for about 40 years, died at St. Francis Hospital in San Francisco on Tuesday at the age of 64 years. He was a native of Scotland and was one of Marin County’s most highly esteemed citizens. The funeral will be conducted from Elk’s Hall, Powell St., near Sutter, San Francisco, at 10 o’clock this afternoon, with interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mr. Wilson leaves a widow, and many friends to mourn his loss, also a brother and sister in Canada.

Mr. Wilson was with W. W. Montague as bookkeeper and private secretary for 40 years. He owned considerable property in this county. He was for many years a warm friend of Mr. James Tunstead of San Anselmo.
