BERNICE M. POMEROY
Greenbrae resident

Bernice M. Pomeroy of Greenbrae died Saturday, Nov. 17, 1990, after a long illness. She was 90.

She was born in San Francisco and lived in Portland, Ore., as a child.

She moved back to California after she got married and lived in San Francisco for about 50 years. She lived at The Tamalpais in Greenbrae for the last 16 years.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Pomeroy was a member of the Gray Ladies during World War II and other service organizations. She enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by a daughter, Billie George of Oakland; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Her body was donated to science.

The family prefers donations to the Heart Fund.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Donald M. and Richard W. George and Katherine E. Beallo, the great-grandmother of Michael and Jack Beallo and K. C. George, and she was the mother-in-law of Robert M. George.
