WILLIAM L. CUNEO
William Louis Cuneo, a longtime resident of San Anselmo, died Sunday in a local hospital after a short illness. He was 79.
A native of San Francisco, Cuneo lived in San Anselmo most of his life and worked until 1965 as an appraiser for the Bank of America in San Rafael.
During his retirement years, Cuneo was an active fisherman and duck hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia Cuneo of San Anselmo; a son, Kenneth W. Cuneo of San Rafael; a daughter, Betty Lou Alvarado of San Anselmo; a sister, Genevieve Smith Cuneo of Los Angeles; a brother, Fred Cuneo of San Francisco; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited over him at 8 tonight in Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
A private service will be held Tuesday at the mortuary and he will be buried in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
