ALVIN J. DOLAN
A Mass of Christian Burial for Alvin Joseph Dolan, a 40-year resident of San Rafael, will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Raphael’s Church, San Rafael.
Dolan died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital. He was 74.
He was born in San Francisco, and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II He was a member of the Wilkins Post No. 37, American Legion. Before his retirement, he worked in a number of firms in Marin, including the California State Auto Association.
He had no close survivors.
The rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock tonight at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the son of the late William and Margaret Dolan, brother of the late Richard and Robert Dolan and Virginia Anderson.
