JAMES R. FROST
As he had requested, no funeral will be held for James R. Frost of San Rafael, a longtime resident of Marin.
He died Tuesday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 79.
He was born in Arkansas and had lived in Marin since about 1940. He was a member of the Painters Union, Local 83.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille R. Frost of San Rafael; a daughter, Donna Rae Benson of Missouri; a son, Robert J. Frost of Novato; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Interment was in Bahia Valley Memorial Park, Novato.
The family prefers memorial contributions to any favorite charity.
