ARTHUR L. BALDOCCHI
Arthur L. Baldocchi died at his home in Novato with his family at his side on Friday, March 2, 2001.
Born Dec. 31, 1916, Mr. Baldocchi spent over 50 years in the San Francisco produce industry. He was a respected and admitted partner in Petrini Plaza Supermarket and Sunset Supermarket.
Arthur was the son of the late Joe and Ella Baldocchi and brother of the late Don and Bud Baldocchi, Jean Cerelli and Dorothy Ferrari.
He was the devoted husband of Jan Ellen Baldocchi for 62 years and a half years; adored father of Sandra Baldocchi (Harvey Chess) and Donna Label (Larry); beloved grandfather of Christie Kelly Ackelbein (Michael). Gregg Kelly (Julie), Anthony Label, Joe Label and the late Jeanna Kelly. He also leaves behind his loving great-grandchildren, Tyler and Sophia Ackelbein, Lindsey Oliva and Shane Kelly. He was the brother-in-law of Doris Nelson, Florence Baldocchi and Bud Cerelli. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass was held this morning, March 14, at St. Monica’s Church in San Francisco. Internment was at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Hospice of Marin, 150 Nellen Ave., Corte Madera, CA 94925.
