Death Claims Respected Pioneer of Bolinas

Mrs. Rebecca Esten, aged 80 years, 4 months and 10 days, died at Bolinas Dec. 26th, and the funeral services were held on the 28th, with interment at Bolinas. Heart failure, due to old age, was the cause of death. She was the mother of Mrs. Waterhouse of Bolinas, and grandmother of Lewis Pepper. Mrs. Esten had been a resident of California for 43 years and had lived at Bolinas for 30 years where the family formerly owned the greater portion of the place.
