HELEN KIRBY
Helen Kirby, 73, a resident of Larkspur since 1937, died Tuesday at home following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Kirby was born in San Francisco and had lived in Marin since 1932.
She is survived by her husband, Frank G. Kirby, a retired Marin County court clerk; two daughters, Emily Ganio of Walnut Creek and Nancy Munton of San Anselmo; a sister, Emily Martin of San Mateo; and 11 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick’s Church, Larkspur. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. The rosary will be recited tonight at 8 at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
Her family asked that memorial contributions go to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, San Rafael.
