ROBERT G. WADE Sr.

A private service will be held Thursday for Robert G. Wade Sr., 61, of San Rafael, owner of Friedman’s Microwave Ovens in San Rafael.

Wade died Monday at a local hospital after suffering a stroke.

Wade had been a resident of Marin for about 18 years and previously lived in Vallejo, where he was a member of the Vallejo Exchange Club and served as a member of the Exchange Club’s state board of control.

He served as an Army lieutenant during World War II.

He was a native of Boston.

Surviving are his wife, Janis Wade of San Rafael; a son, Robert Wade Jr. of Vacaville; and a daughter, Cheryl Wade of Berkeley.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to diabetes or arthritis associations.
