Charles Polacchi Succumbs In S. F.

Charles G. Polacchi, 84, of 180 Elm avenue, Mill Valley, died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital after a brief illness. A retired worker for Northwestern Pacific Railroad in Marin, he lived in Mill Valley since 1903. He was a native of Italy.

Surviving are his wife, Rosa; two sons, Raymond F. Polacchi of San Francisco and Charles P. Polacchi of Richmond; and a sister, Mrs. Carolina Milani of Mill Valley.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Mill Valley, Monday at 9:45 a.m. Rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 p.m. at the Memorial Chapel of Russell and Gooch, Mill Valley. Burial will be in Italian Cemetery, Colma.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the brother of the late Luigi and John Polacchi. His wife is referred to as Rosa F. Polacchi. He was the grandfather of Robert and Ann Polacchi.
