ESTHER B. LOEWENBERG
Esther B. Loewenberg of Novato, a Marin resident for more than 50 years, died today at a local hospital. She was 81.
Mrs. Loewenberg was born in Massachusetts and moved to California about 60 years ago. She moved to Marin in the mid-1920s.
She served in the Navy during World War I.
Mrs. Loewneberg was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of the Novato Senior Citizens.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan Lammers of Rohnert Park; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hills of Eternity Cemetery in Colma.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the wife of the late Joseph J. Loewenberg; she was also the mother of the late Norman Loewenberg. She was the grandmother of Linda Squellati, Gerald Lammers and Karin Loewenberg, and great-grandmother of Kenneth Lammers.
