THOMAS E. McCAULEY
A Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas E. McCauley of San Francisco, father of Linda Woods of San Rafael, will be said Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Edward’s Church in San Francisco.
McCauley died Sunday in a San Francisco hospital. He was 72.
He was born in San Francisco and lived there all his life. He served in the Navy during World War II.
McCauley worked as a glazier for the state for more than 25 years in San Francisco.
He spent a great deal of time in Marin and was an active horse rider. He was a member of the San Francisco Horseman’s Association and the Tamalpais Trail Riders. He also belonged to the American Legion Wilkins Post in San Rafael.
Besides his daughter, he is survived by a sister, Mabel Fogarty of San Francisco and two grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Carew and English mortuary in San Francisco. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
The family prefers memorial donations to the Hanna Boys Center in Sonoma County.

A Death Notice in the same paper says he was the grandfather of Judy and Russell Woods, and uncle of Robert Fogarty and Jack Kenny.
