SUSIE ROY
Funeral for Susie Roy, 88, of 101 Ross Avenue, San Anselmo, a San Geronimo Valley pioneer, was held yesterday.
Mrs. Roy, widow of Ralph S. Roy, a dairy rancher, died Wednesday at a local hospital after a short illness.
A native of San Francisco, Mrs. Roy had been a resident of Marin since the San Francisco earthquake in 1906, living most of her adult life in the San Geronimo Valley. She had lived in San Anselmo the past four years.
In earlier years, she had been active in the Parent-Teacher Association in San Geronimo.
Surviving are two sons, Ralph S. Roy Jr. of Red Bluff, Tahama County, and Douglas Roy of Redding, Shasta County, and seven grandchildren.
Cremation was at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper states that Ralph S. Roy Jr. was of Platina, CA, and that Susie was the sister of the late Emma F. Daniel, May W. Patrick, Laura Daniel, Ella R. Worley, Josefa E. Daniel and John Daniel. Private family services were held at the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael. Inurnment at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
