Metz Last Rites Held In Hub City
Private family services for Herman J. Metz, Bank of America official who died suddenly in his San Anselmo home late yesterday afternoon, were held today at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
Metz, 50, was the apparent victim of a heart attack. A native Californian and a San Anselmo resident for about 12 years, he lived at 48 Alder avenue.
He was an assistant cashier at the Bank of America’s main office on Montgomery street in San Francisco.
He is survived by his wife, Maria; two sons, Richard, 13, and Peter, 11, and a sister, Mrs. Alice Lundquist of San Rafael. He was the brother of the late Jacob Metz.

A Death Notice in the same paper refers to his wife as Maria Consuelo Metz.
