BERTHA BEAN
Bertha L. Bean, 86, of Petaluma, died yesterday at a local hospital after a short illness.
A native of Denver, Colo., she had lived in Petaluma for 47 years and was the wife of the late Rev. William E. Bean, who had been pastor at the Christian Church of Petaluma.
She is survived by two sons, Ellsworth Bean of Petaluma and Oliver G. Bean of Springfield, Ore.; a daughter, Cleone Martinez of Sacramento; a sister, Olive Longfellow of Los Angeles; seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Parent Funeral Chapel, Petaluma. Burial will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park.
