Death Ends Illness of Aged Woman
Mrs. Mary C. Parker passed away last Friday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lottie Gauthier, after an illness which had kept her confined to her bed for the past eight months. She had been suffering from the illness which caused her death for nearly 4 years.
Left a widow many years ago, she had made her home for a long time with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gauthier, coming here with them shortly after the San Francisco fire in 1906. She leaves one other daughter, Mrs. Cora Simpson, of San Rafael.
The funeral services were held privately last Monday at the Gauthier home, and burial was made in Oakland. Mrs. Parker would have been 75 years of age in August of this year.
