Mill Valley Resident Dies In Burning House
Mrs. Julia Holt, who has been partially paralyzed for some time, was found dead near a gas stove when fire was discovered in the house and neighbors entered it.
It is believed that Mrs. Holt fell unconscious, striking the stove and upsetting it against the wall of the room. Mrs. Gumpers, her day nurse, discovered the fire, when approaching the house for her day’s work there. Mrs. Holt’s daughter had left for school. She is survived by two daughters and a son, the oldest daughter a student at the University of California.
