San Quentin Ill One Day, Dies
Stricken ill only Sunday, Roy Eugene McKown, 54, San Quentin guard for the past 9 years, died yesterday at his residence at San Quentin. A native of San Francisco, McKown leaves his widow, Mrs. May McKown; a daughter, Mrs. Allen Seaman of San Anselmo; and a son, Albert McKown. He was a member of Camp 106 W.O.W. of Stockton.
Graveside services will be held at the Park View Cemetery, Stockton, on Thursday. Friends may call at the mortuary of Keaton and Dusel, San Rafael, until 9 a.m. Thursday.
